A new writing, three-hander play based on a true story. Set in 1800s Ireland, this Irish drama will blend dark humour, folklore, and {light) horror.
After ten years of silence, Anne and Patrick are surprised at the return of their niece, Kate, to their rural Irish farmhouse. But as Kate and Anne's kinship begins to blossom, a sinister and nefarious series of events occur. A mysterious gang that hunts Kate, an unknown presence who haunts Anne, and Patrick's own jealousy start to throw a once peaceful life into a spiral of chaos.
IMPORTANT: An Irish accent is needed for this role (no specific region).
Patrick, an Irish farmer born to a working class family.
Headstrong, determined, but loving. He is devout to his faith and believes he has the answers to all. His sense of humour and chirpy outlook hide his inner struggles with his own self-worth and masculinity.
Unable to have children with his wife, Anne, Patrick fears the end of his bloodline and will do anything to secure his family's future.
