After ten years of silence, Anne and Patrick are surprised at the return of their niece, Kate, to their rural Irish farmhouse. But as Kate and Anne's kinship begins to blossom, a sinister and nefarious series of events occur. A mysterious gang that hunts Kate, an unknown presence who haunts Anne, and Patrick's own jealousy start to throw a once peaceful life into a spiral of chaos.

Kate, born into a working class Irish family, has lived a life of crime and deception. But when a gang decide to hunt her down, she flees to her family home. With her son in tow, she decides to escape her old life.
