Alice and Alfie's relationship is in the rut to end all ruts. The same hellos. The same wild suspicions. The same Angel Slices. Night after night after night. After night.

If only they could turn the page.

Reeling from a tortuous night of sci-fi cosplay and armed with a vague memory of something really quite bad, Alice and Alfie peer into the darkness. There’s something there. Could be a way out. Could be an end to a life of endless bickering, bad poetry, and shoddy home improvements.

Could be, couldn’t it?

Or it could be their worst nightmare.
