I had a passion for film and creativity early in my life, starting a YouTube channel at 10 and making vlogs on Instagram throughout my teens. Now at Film School, aiming to become a successful Location Sound Recordist and traveling the world
From a young age I have always been captivated by the feeling a film can give you. The feeling when you’ve just stepped out of the theatre with a strange motivation to change your life or just the general feeling of wanting to live life to a fuller extent. This feeling has always inspired me to want to involve myself in the process of filmmaking naturally and be able to tell a story through the lens.
Growing up, I found inspiration in films that challenged perspectives and evoked deep emotions. This fascination led me to experiment with different storytelling techniques like doing 35mm film Photography. Along the way I also taught myself different filmmaking techniques like editing and learning how to cut properly on adobe premiere to make my own travel videos and personal life vlogs. These additional skills helped me when going to Bristol Film School.
Choosing to go to film school after dabbling in many other subjects like Graphic design, Politics and Business at A Levels I found a common ground with the subject of Film, the idea of using your renowned knowledge of the world and being able to use that to your advantage within storytelling.
